What information do we collect?

We collect personal information and non-personal information through the Site and our services. Personal information is information that identifies you as an individual. Non-personal information is aggregated information, demographic information, and any other information that does not reveal your specific identity.

Personal information. We may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Information Submitted on our Site: Information provided by you when submitting inquiries or request to be contacted. For example, you may be required to submit personal information such as your name, address, and e-mail address.

  • Investment Information: When you invest in one of our programs you may provide relevant financial information. This may include a social security number, income history, credit information, assets, and investment experience. My may also collect background information as required by law.

Non-personal Information. We may collect the following types of non-personal information:

  • Cookies: Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We use cookies to keep track of advertisements and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business. We use third party advertising technology to serve ads on our website(s) and on the websites where we advertise. We normally serve our advertisements by ad networks such as DoubleClick that are independent of us. Third party servers may employ cookies or action tags to measure advertising effectiveness, target advertising to individuals and for other purposes.

  • Log Files: Your Internet Protocol (IP) address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This number is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the website, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. We use your IP address, and the IP addresses of all users, for purposes such as calculating website usage levels, helping diagnose problems with the website’s servers, and administering the website. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is done automatically by many websites

  • Pixels: We, our service providers, and/or non-affiliated Third-parties, may also use so-called “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” “clear GIFs” or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) in connection with some website pages and HTML-formatted e-mail messages to, among other things, compile aggregate statistics about website usage and response rates. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1×1), that is ordinarily not visible to website visitors and may be associated with Cookies on the visitors’ hard drives. Pixel Tags allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the website, to deliver branded services, to provide online advertising, and to help determine the effectiveness of promotional or advertising campaigns.
